An institutions
responsibility is not only confined to provide better
and quality education. To build a nation with moral principles
its responsibility goes more than that. Education is not
only the only thing that can make a person perfect. So
we need more things including education. At DIIT a student
can get the opportunity to develop the other curricula
activities. We have SPONDON, a DIIT cultural boon, DIIT
Computer Club (DIIT CC), ALLUMNI ASSOCIATION etc which
have given DIIT the identity as a complete educational
institute.

a DIIT CULTURAL BOON: |
Culture is our social
identity. Culture means what we are and what we want to
be. When we think about our Bengali Culture than, we feel
proud to say that it has a hundred year of heritage. SPONDON
is an effort to keep-up the magnificent heritage by the
DIIT students—said
by MR. KM HASAN RIPON, Convener of SPONDON in an interview.
Spondon was created on August 4, in the year of 2004 and
today it has more than 200 members.

Computer Club (DIIT CC): |
DIIT is a very well
reputed educational institute and that can be mentioned
as the legend in providing IT education here in Bangladesh.
DIITCC can be mentioned as the support unit of our DIIT’s
students where our students can get all types of computer
related help, training from the computer club--- Mr.
APU SULTAN, the President of the DIITCC.
Mr.
KHALID SOHEL the course co-coordinator of DIIT is the
President of this association. Asking the question about
its activity we got the reply that –
“Studying
in an university and having some extra-ordinary certificates
in not only the responsibility of a student To be good
in all we have to be part of all social institutions,
means to our society, family, institutes and so on. We
feel that DIIT student’s society is not the exception.
DIIT Alumni Association is the whole of the DAFFODILS
where we can find the past, present and future of our
DIIT and this is a continuous or ongoing process.
