• 1990:   Daffodil started its journey as a general computer training center

• 1997:   Achieved the affiliation of NCC Education UK to educate the young generation with International standard education.

• 1998:   With the gradual success of general IT training and success of NCC Education Daffodil renamed it’s Training Wing as Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT)

• 1999:    Achieved the first authorization in Bangladesh for conducting BSc. (Hons) in Computing & Information Systems under London Guildhall University (Now renamed as London Metropolitan University)

Started its first wing Center for Certified Professional Training for computer professionals

Established a sophisticated Cyber Café

• 2000:   Established Online Testing Center in affiliation with VUE (Virtual University Enterprises), Australia
Achieved the affiliation of National University for conducting BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and for BBA Course.
Stated its operation in Khulna, Chittagong and Banani Branch.

• 2001:   Achieved the membership of CompTIA, USA
Achieved the First “Preferred Partnership” of NCC Education in Bangladesh
Started its operation in Narayanganj, Comilla and Feni
Established Career Development Program for Unemployed but Educated People.

• 2002: Achieved the “Elite Partner Award” of NCC Education, UK among 350 Centers in 45 Countries.

• 2003:   Achieved the “Best Partner Award” of NCC Education UK among 350 Centers in 45 Countries

• 2004: Three of the DIIT Faculty & Management Employee (Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain & Mr Khaled Sohel) got scholarship from DGF, KTC (Scholarship Awarded by Korean Government)
Ten of the DIIT students got place in the Roll of Honor list for their academic excellence in the Global Exams.

• 2005:  DIIT achieved the Academic Excellence Award among 350 Centers in 45 Countries
DIIT attended the International Education Fair in Nepal
10 of the DIIT Students got first class.

• 2006: DIIT student Ms. Farlin got scholarship in Esslingen University, Germany and Mr. Anower got full scholarship in London Metropolitan University.
Two of our students (Mr. Tajul & Mr. Nazmul) got place in the Roll of Honor list for their outstanding performance in the Global Exams.

DIIT Students Alumni Association opened in UK.
DIIT Executive Director as a first ever member attended the Ninth International Conference on Quality Engineering Technology (CONQUEST).

• 2007: Our Nepali student Mr. Suraj Gyawali got scholarship in London Metropolitan University in the Masters Program. DIIT started CAT/ACCA Programs in affiliation with ACCA UK.
