• Overview

  This programme is for speakers of English as a foreign language, who have completed their secondary education in an appropriate range of subjects. An intensive, one year programme providing you with essential preparation for university entry.  If you are a speaker of English as a foreign language, this programme will upgrade your study skills for further learning at a British university.

• Entry Requirements

  Students must have successfully completed Higher secondary education in an appropriate range of subjects;

  AND

  Have a valid score of 4.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or equivalent, pass in the free NCC Education English Placement Test or equivalent (please contact your Centre for further information).

• Assessment

  The programme is assessed by assignment and examinations. Assessment dates are available from your Accredited Partner Centre.

  Improve your English language to a level suitable for undergraduate study, upgrade your study skills to succeed in future studies, upgrade your subject-specific knowledge in IT and/or Business fields to a level suitable for undergraduate study.

• Academic Progression

  Ideal for students seeking entry onto a university degree course or acceptance onto an NCC Education Diploma.

  Successful graduates of the IFY programme can continue their studies on the next stage of the NCC Education Degree Journey; International Diploma in Computer Studies, or apply for an undergraduate degree programme at a university.
